Today’s YouTube Friday is from a couple of classical performers that I admire very much; Kathleen Battle, soprano and Wynton Marsalis, trumpet.

Also as a bonus, here is a clip of Wynton Marsalis playing the infamous trumpet piece, “Carnival of Venice”, with the infamous John Williams (of Star Wars and many, many other movies fame) directing.

Until next time…

P.S. – I have previously wrote a post on Wynton Marsalis, but with his jazz ensemble.  You can check them out here and here.  Enjoy!

Kicking off my first post in months is… you guessed it folks… YouTube Friday!!!

As of recent news, Steve Jobs is back at Apple Computer after months of medical leave; after a successful liver transplant.  I have read extensively on various business leaders in history, but no one stands out as significant as Steve Jobs.  So if you are reading Steve, glad your back and in good health, and many more years of good health.  Here is a clip from the Stanford Commencement 2005.  Enjoy!

Until next time…

Today’s YouTube clip was made on a free, open source 3D application program called Blender.  Blender is used as an animating and rendering tool for 3D models.  You can also download “Big Buck Bunny”, keep track of other productions, or buy a DVD to enjoy as well here.  Enjoy!

P.S. — I would advise to watch in HD and on a full-screen…

Until next time…

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, will post something soon on how my holiday season went.  This clip is Snoop Dogg making mashed potatoes on “The Martha Stewart Show”…  I thought this would be sort of appropriate for the holidays.  Enjoy!

Until next time…

Thirteen days until Christmas and I am getting very excited!  I was referred to his clip by one of my favorite video podcast, the Buzz Report with Molly Wood, and I laughed out loud.  This weeks clip is loosely based on the game “Mario Kart“.  Enjoy!

Until next time…

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving holiday!  I haven’t posted recently but while on vacation I was thinking about the time when I was in the Pride of Arizona, “The World’s first Alternative Marching Band” at the University of Arizona.  Back then, I was playing trumpet, between 1996-97… or in POA speak, the Chili Pepper / 1st Pink Floyd shows.  These clips are from last year’s season, I hope you enjoy!

Until next time.

Your probably wondering what’s the big deal? I among others could care less about Bill Gates, but Seinfeld? Now you have my attention. This is not a plug for Microsoft, but I do think these commercials are funny. At least these commercials are not about “pants”? If you haven’t seen them already (probably has been playing on network television all week, so I wouldn’t really know) or have a hankering for churro’s, here they are.

Here is the second one,

Until next time…

Came across this one yesterday. Who doesn’t love a cute little kitty? Anyway, another clip from Nalts. If you have some time to kill and tube surfing, check out his channel on YouTube. He has over 600 video clips that he’s done.

Here’s a bonus clip, this time with a cute little doggie. Enjoy!

Until next time…

It’s that time of the week again; getting psyched about the weekend.  Well, here is a clip for parents that have just a little trouble getting your baby to stop crying.  Maybe of all the times that you have been RickRolled by your co-workers; you can now use this to your own advantage.  In case you don’t know what being “RickRolled” is, I have placed a link for you to see for yourself.  It’s NOT a trick, I promise!  Anyway, enjoy!

Until next time…

I bumped into this little clip today.  Although I think any DIY (Do-it-yourself) project is great, I just think this is just a little creepy!

Also another clip that @snez pointed me to, thanks for sharing!  If only Friday’s at the office is truly like this!  Enjoy!

Until next time…
